just a love to endure

Santa Cruz has been blessed with some gorgeous weather, which was just in time for the kids to begin camp at the farm. This week they were learning about composting, harvesting, and how planted and nourished seeds can provide amazing results. One of the featured activities was making herb omlettes with fresh, organic eggs and rosemary harvested from the farm.  A few photos are of the beautiful lunches that the staff members have provided throughout the week.

Summer solstice was Wednesday and was appropriately celebrated with a classic bonfire. Nothing screams summer like roasting hot dogs with friends on the longest day of the year. Sun’s out  til 9:30pm? Yes, please.
