Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! I’m Katy, a twenty something foodie who loves cooking with wholesome ingredients for friends and family. There’s nothing I love more than hitting up the farmer’s market, loading up on fresh produce, and creating a fresh, home cooked meal. I love looking down at my plate and seeing each item in it’s original form; the way it looks straight from the ground. I add color to my plate whenever possible in the form of beets, squash, carrots, or any other vegetable I can get my hands on. Healthy eating is so important to me, but at the same time I really believe in moderation! You gotta live a little and treat yourself! Follow the 80-20 plan….80% of the time, try to fuel your body with fresh, healthy meals and 20% of the time enjoy that cake (or whatever your weakness is). I’m currently living in San Diego, working towards my master’s in Nutritional Sciences and becoming a registered dietitian!
